Our **Lacombe Food Store **is looking for a full-time **Head Cashier **to join our team.
**Full-time**:40 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
**Availability requirements**:Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons and evenings.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide outstanding customer service as well as assist in reducing theft and loss
- Be familiar with and adhere to Central Alberta Co-op policies and procedures
- Promote Co-op's memberships and benefits
- Supervise and develop front-end staff
- Oversee and handle sale transactions
- Order and receive products and properly store or display
- Process accurate paperwork in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good delegation skills with a focus on customer service
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changes
- Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.)
