Head Cashier

Our  Lacombe Food Store is looking for a full-time Head Cashier to join our team.

Full-time:  40 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer service as well as assist in reducing theft and loss Be familiar with and adhere to Central Alberta Co-op policies and procedures Promote Co-op's memberships and benefits Supervise and develop front-end staff Oversee and handle sale transactions  Order and receive products and properly store or display Process accurate paperwork in a timely manner Other duties as assigned by the manager

Excellent customer service and communication skills Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment Good delegation skills with a focus on customer service Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changes Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50
