Front Desk Agent

Responsible for the Check-in and Departure of hotel guests.
- Answer the hotel phone, both internal and external calls.
- Be an expert on local and onsite services and be able to provide information about them.
- Use accurate accounting and cash handling procedures.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests.
- Communicate very effectively with all other departments within the hotel.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of rooms, reservations, and room assignments.
- Co-ordinate and supervise guest activities.
- Represent the culture of the Hotel and build repeat guests.
- Perform other related duties as required by the Manager.
- Responsible for doing Room laundry and maintain cleanliness
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kamloops, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: One location
