St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting two Full Time, Probationary, Educational Assistant 4 (PACE Classroom) for work assignments at É cole Hillgrove School.

More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values. As a precondition of employment, all potential new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (all recommended doses of a vaccine approved by Health Canada and recommended by Alberta Health Services). Exceptions will only be considered upon proof of a medical condition, or other protected ground under the Alberta Human Rights Act.

**Hours of Work**: 30.0 hrs. /week; 6.0 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Full Time, Probationary

**Hourly Rate**: $20.56 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement

**Start Date**: August 28, 2023

**Deadline for Applications**: Wednesday, August 23, 2023

**Specific Needs/Requirements for this position**:
Formal Post-Secondary training is preferred

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training an asset

Experience using assistive technology an asset

Preferred experience working with the French language

Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team an asset

Experience working with students with various diverse learning and behavioural needs an asset

Experience implementing positive behavior support plan strategies required

Applications, either written or electronic, must include documentation which describes:
Highest level of formal education.

Professional certificates, trade certificates, etc.

Courses, seminars, specialized training.

Experience related to the position.

Other skills and abilities applicable to the position.
