**Job Description**:
As a valuable employee at MLSE Launchpad, a place where youth facing barriers use sport to recognize and reach their potential, you will be responsible for ensuring that all pots, pans, trays, flatware, plates, dishes, bowls, cups, and all small wares are clean, sanitized, dried, and put away following all service standards and policies including Health and Safety. You will also assist the Nutrition Hub Coordinator, and Assistants, with other cleaning and kitchen duties when required.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Operate and clean the conveyor dish washing machine in a safe, organized manner.
- Scrape and thoroughly wash pots and return to designated areas.
- Adhere to WHMIS AND MSDS principles to safely handle cleaning supplies and other chemicals.
- Sweep and mop the floor, clean counters and shelves, and breakdown packages and boxes when necessary.
- Assist in the receiving and storage of incoming product and delivery of supplies to proper areas when required.
- Perform other cleaning and kitchen duties as required.

**Other duties as required**:

- Participate in staff orientations, training, and/or in-service meetings as the need arises.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including occasionally supporting events and programs as required by the Nutrition Hub Coordinator.

**Qualifications**:
- Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work evening, weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work well with other people on a small team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment (or interest in learning more) an asset
- A winning attitude
