**Your Opportunity**:
The Program Lead, Decision Support leads a professional team and provides leadership, support, and expert counsel to direct reports on all aspects of data management & analytics reporting. This is a dynamic position that requires interaction with many different areas of the organization. The position requires a client focused individual with the ability to create strong partnerships with operational areas. The incumbent will need to be confident in their knowledge and opinions and have the ability to understand health related business issues and provide sound data management & analytics advice highlighting potential areas of risk. The Program Lead will be responsible for exploring and developing new data sources and setting up relevant data management tools. The incumbent will work with APL informatics leadership to support the mission, vision, values of the organization.

**Required Qualifications**:
Masters’ Degree in Health Informatics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, business administration, public health or related discipline and five years of applicable experience. Minimum five years of management or supervisory experience of a data/analytics team. Experience in managing data repositories. A combination of experience and education may be considered. Proven management and team building skills for staff and the ability to effectively direct and manage resources. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to deal with highly complex and sensitive matters in a professional manner. Excellent analytical and organizational skills with ability to work within defined deadlines. Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills when dealing with both internal staff and external parties. Ability to think and act strategically and systematically. Must be able to establish and adjust priorities in accordance with competing demands and complex issues. Must be able to achieve results by managing outcomes using a variety of service delivery methods and resources.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Must have entrepreneurial skills and be able to effectively assess and manage risk in order to implement innovative solutions. Must have demonstrated the confidence and ability to communicate and work effectively at a management level with internal and external parties. Possess the ability to communicate findings effectively to senior levels in the organization. Strong orientation and focus on providing exemplary service and support to internal and external clients; Includes the ability to provide leadership and interact positively with all clients. Solution oriented with a focus on exercising sound judgment to creatively resolve issues. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross functional teams. Effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write clearly and concisely. Strong analytical and process re-design skills with “out of the box” creative thinking. Strong computer skills with advanced MS Office expertise in Project, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Visio. A combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Doctorate Degree in Health Informatics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, business administration, public health or related discipline. Experience in the field of Healthcare/Laboratory Medicine. Eight to ten years of experience in an analytics role in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity.
