**Controls & Instrumentation**
**Technician. **This is a permanent, full-time position located in
**Windsor, NS.**
- Performing and maintaining calibration program in a qualified state.
- Installing and maintaining instrumentation/electrical equipment.
- Troubleshooting process control system.
- Assisting in programing PLC to correct system issues.
- Assisting in troubleshooting and correcting operational/maintenance issues.
- Maintaining IO, motor lists and any other documentation as required for efficient system operation.
- Assisting in pricing equipment and consumables for capital equipment.
- Assigning and scheduling maintenance operations including tracking work orders, maintaining spare parts inventory, and maintaining calibration and maintenance history of plant equipment. using Blue Mountain software. Including review and verification of good documentation practices on work orders.
- Adhering to BIOVECTRA’s Health and Safety Policy as outlined in CP0010 Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Statements of Principle, and Responsibilities.
- Additional duties assigned, based on business needs and the department supervisor’s request.
- Eligible for certification in PEI as a CET.
- Trade Certificate as Electrical Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Electronics technician.
- A licensed/registered Industrial Electrician would be an asset.
- Five years’ experience in an industrial environment.
- Strong PLC programming skills would be an asset.
