Job Summary:
As a Service Now professional you have great communication skills, you are solutions oriented, have a zest for learning and have strong hands on experience using the ServiceNow platform.
What you'll be doing:
You will be a key member of our Corporate IT team and support our ServiceNow platform. You will develop solutions to improve the platform, assist with deployment of changes to the production environment, monitor and resolve issues, assess ServiceNow modules and processes, create reports, communicate and train end users on changes to the platform along with perform other duties as required to deliver exceptional service and to support business goals.
What you’ll have:
- Strong communication skills (both orally and in writing) with technical teams and co-workers, work to schedules and adapt easily to changing priorities and business needs
- Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of IT operations and ITSM processes
- Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving platform incidents as required
- Contribute to implementing a continuous improvement process.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and time management skills
- 3+ years relevant experience in IT environment
Technical Knowledge
- 3+ years experience developing for, operating and supporting Platform/Software as a Service (PaaS/SaaS) is required
- Experience with the ServiceNow platform
- 3+ years experience developing with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and Powershell is required
- 3+ years experience in using SQL (MSSQL, MySQL) is required
Nice to haves:
- Experience with ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management (ITIL Certification/Training)
- Experience with Web Services, REST APIs and JSON
- Experience in Linux, PHP, jQuery, Git, and Subversion
- Experience with business analysis and information gathering
