McMillan has an exciting opportunity as a **Corporate Services Assistant** in our **Toronto Corporate Services and Business Law Group**. As a member of the team, you will play a key role in providing administrative support to the Law Clerks and Legal Administrative Assistants in the Corporate Services Group.

**Please note that this role is primarily an onsite role with opportunity for some remote work.**

**What You’ll Do**

You will work under the direction of the Manager, Corporate Services, and the Law Clerks and Legal Administrative Assistants (“LAAs”) in the Corporate Services group, providing administrative support to the LAAs and Law Clerks as required. You will assist with the filing of documents in minute books and the corporate database and will be responsible for the orderly maintenance of the minute book collection. You will assist with arranging for scanning of documents and minute books, processing invoices for payment, preparation of VISA reconciliation reports and other tasks and projects as may be required.

**What You Bring**

Your history includes a Legal Assistant Diploma, either recently graduated or with a minimum of _one year_ of law firm experience. Corporate Law related experience is an asset. You have strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You are detail-oriented and can effectively meet deadlines, work well in a team setting, and provide an exceptional level of client service. You embrace evolving technology and have strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Prior experience with DeskSite and knowledge of corporate databases would be helpful.
