As a Junior Pre-Owned Buyer, you'll have the opportunity to obtain phenomenal used-car inventory through appraisals and attend off-site auctions.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for all faces of acquiring a used-car inventory through direct contacts, generated leads, off-site auctions, dealers, internet inquiries from customers or any other available avenues.
- Appraise vehicles, understand vehicle condition, negotiate price, make financially sound purchasing decisions, and ensure timely processing of all purchases.
- Responsible for understanding retail trends and participating in the inventory planning process.
- Deliver a premium customer experience by responding to customer inquiries in a prompt, professional, accurate and courteous manner. This highly accountable position uses lead management tools.
- Performs other duties as required by the Sales Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- 1-3 years experience in a similar role preferred.
- OMVIC licensed preferred.
- A valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract is required for this role.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal & written) and customer service skills.
- Exceptional sales skills and a commitment to sales objectives.
