**ABOUT US**
The Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT) project is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, UECI and Framatome. SGRT is a part of the Major Component Replacement project and includes the removal of the eight steam generators at Unit 6, 3, 4, 5 and the installation of replacement steam generators with related plant modifications. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.

Work on Unit 3 is scheduled to reach substantial completion in Winter of 2024. Work on Unit 4 is scheduled to reach substantial completion in Summer of 2026. Work on Unit 5 engineering is scheduled to be completed in Winter of 2024. In addition to the existing contracts, SGRT has a long-term Preferred Supplier Agreement for steam generator replacements at the plant’s remaining 3 units as part of the Bruce Major Component Replacement project.

PURPOSE OF THE SCHEDULER POSITION*
Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, the Scheduler will support the project in the development of the engineering schedule and the maintenance of the execution project schedules on the SGRT project. The Scheduler would also support project cost control and reporting during the engineering phase.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
- To prepare and regularly update Planning and Scheduling procedures: issue special Planning and Scheduling instructions, as required.
- To attend meetings on the project, and inform relevant project personnel on schedule and manhours status
- To develop and maintain a detailed task and deliverable list
- To attend meetings with contractors at site and update schedules
- To produce reports and graphics for earned value reporting
- Preparing complex engineering schedules for projects
- Maintaining engineering and execution schedules
- Preparing reports for management regarding project cost and scheduling activities
- Ensuring the maintenance of all other essential records and reports
- Maintaining liaison with project management regarding scheduling activities and assisting them in determining schedule priorities
- Provide timely feedback to project managers with regards to activities trending away from the set plan
- Other duties as assigned

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- College and/or University degree in related field, OR applicable work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of related planning & scheduling experience
- Knowledge of P6 is required and other project management tools would be an asset
- Applied knowledge of Project Management and Project Controls principles, including experience with concepts of PMBOK and AACE
- Ability to produce read and manipulate schedules and scheduling curves/reports.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Applied knowledge of cost engineering/cost control preferred.
- Experience in an EPC environment is preferred
- People oriented with an ability to establish a high degree of credibility with staff and clients
