Full-time at Pacekids' north ( Ave NE Calgary)Mon - Fri 8:45am - 3:45pm w/ additional hours for student transport (as early as 7:30am and as late as 5:00pm)Part-time at Pacekids' south ( Sunpark Drive SE Calgary)Mon - Fri 8:45am - 12:10pm w/ additional hours for student transport (as early as 7:30am and as late as 1:30pm)10-month (school year) position that would commence as soon as possibleWhat We OfferPaid mileage for transportation of students (personal vehicle)Paid flexible sick and personal time for all staff, accrued at 5.38 % of hours workedEmployer-paid health and paramedical benefits for full-time employeesPaid observance of 13 holidays3 weeks annual paid vacation (prorated for contract length) for full-time employeesLow classroom ratio with support for professional developmentSummers and weekends offResponsibilitiesProvide a fun, positive learning environment that encourages children's successSupport the development of skills which may include communication (possible use of assistive technology, sign language, or pictures), mobility, independence, play, feeding, dressing, and toiletingImplement any strategies provided by teachers or therapists on an ongoing basis, to support goals in child's IPPUnder the direction of the therapist, schedule, plan, and implement discipline-specific treatment sessions with therapists, including collecting data for goals and samples for assessments as outlined on children's Individual Program PlansProvide discipline-specific therapists with feedback regarding a child's progress with goals including, attendance of meetings and case conferences as requiredAssist with classroom organization, cleaning, and activity prep in order to ensure the smooth running of the classroomTransportation of children to and from work using personal vehicle or company van (class 4 required)What You BringCurrent Alberta driver's license (Class 4 license an asset), clean drivers abstract, and appropriate auto insuranceApplicants must be able to transport children to and from school daily using their reliable and well-maintained personal vehicleCurrent First Aid and CPR Level
