**How does the role impact the organization?**

The summer intern will be exposed to various products and roles available within Wealth Management and will have the opportunity to gain insight into the branch specifically as well as to add value through their unique perspective and strong academic background. The role’s primary responsibility will be to support the branch management team.

**What will your role be responsible for?**
- Help prepare presentations for client meetings
- Help with portfolio analysis for prospective clients
- Support various office administrative duties
- Help with FX for trading
- Ensure all clients and prospects are coded properly for PM models
- Review all household fees and ensure aligned with fee schedule
- Help with media prep - BNN news, data etc.
- Assist with generating monthly client spreadsheets
- Help with on-going marketing materials and developments
- Do update calls with mutual fund companies and conference calls for PM’s

**What do we expect from you?**
- Knowledge of fundamental investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry.
- Work within deadlines while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail;
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment;
- Demonstrate a professional manner to establish and maintain effective working relationships;
- Have flexibility and willingness to assist others as required; and
- Communicate proficiently in French is an asset.

**Educational/Previous Experience Requirements**
- A minimum of 1 completed year of study in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business or Finance;
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course is a definite asset; and
- Experience with Microsoft CRM is an asset.
