We are looking for a Quality Control Senior Inspector to join our team at our Saint John office. This will be a position with the potential for long-term employment. As the QCSI you will implement, audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with SCEI’s Quality Programs.

**Responsibilities**

Have thorough knowledge of ASME Quality Program, work instructions and procedures.
- Perform ASME welder testing.
- Ensure work is performed to established technical requirements defined by project documentation including drawings, specifications, procedure, inspection & test plans and work instructions.
- Consult with supervisors, owners, contractors and authorized inspectors to resolve problems.
- Generate quality reports.
- Issuance of non-conformances and corrective actions
- Perform inspections as required.
- Generate project quality plans inspection & test plans and procedures.
- Work closely with construction supervisors and project coordinators.
- Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with SCEI's quality policies and customer specifications.
- Conduct inspections, in-process, in-coming and complete final inspections.

**Qualifications**

7+ years’ experience working in Quality for Oil & Gas industry. Experience working in pulp and paper, nuclear or other industries will be considered.
- Knowledge of applicable codes CSA W59, CSA Z662, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME VIII
- CWB Level 2 Certified welding inspector
- Read and interpret specifications and prints.
- Technical writing
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and jurisdictional authority.
- Ability to manage a team of quality control inspectors.
