**THE ROLE**

In this role, you will be responsible for the analytical insights and drive day-to-day results for the supply chain team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director you’ll deliver recommendations in a structured and data driven manner, you flag areas of opportunity and inefficiency, build business cases for processes and system improvements. You will work with the Supply Chain, Logistics, EDI and Vendor Compliance teams and lead the data and analytics. You’ll work with MEC internal teams and externally with vendors and partners to ensure flawless transmission of information leading to the seamless flow of inventory into and through the MEC Supply Chain.

Other functional tasks include:

- Provide analytics and reporting to support decision making in key processes across the Supply Chain group, from the ordering, tracking, and receiving of products at our Distribution Centers to the allocation and replenishment of our product to our stores.
- Utilize our WMS and ERP systems to automate and simplify these functions, while continually developing better reporting and dashboarding for them.
- Work with Logistics and compliance team to pull list of missing EDI ASNs from reporting. Compare against exceptions or known issues.
- Develop and update tools for use around EDI failures and vendor compliance.
- Liaise with our partners in the IT and BI departments and represent the interest of the Supply Chain team in the implementation of new technologies, trouble shooting systems issues.
- Resolving issues and building reporting upstream to catch issues prior to affecting operations.
- Contribute to regression testing for D365.
- Help lead various continuous improvement initiatives to identify and address inefficiencies in our current processes and gaps in our technologies.
- Gain insight into Just Enough (JE) MEC’s merchant system for planning, assorting, and allocating inventory, while working with the ARA team and Store Ops to ensure we are landing goods in the stores in a more functional manner.
- Reconciling inventory drops from the JE system to D365 and WMS.
- Communicating back changes needed to the ARA and Merchant teams from the Supply chain group as it pertains to store shipments and allocation efficiencies.

**About You**
- You enjoy working collaboratively in cross functional teams to map out processes, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- You’re inquisitive and you believe in empowering your colleagues throughout MEC to find new insights and solve interesting supply chain challenges.
- You’re analytically driven, but you recognize that communicating these insights effectively to your colleagues within MEC is as important as the quality of the analysis.
- You understand that tools and solutions must be designed to be intuitive and easy for our partners, staff and members to understand.

**THE QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline preferred (e.g. Business, Logistics)
- 5-7 years distribution center management or operational analytical experience.
- 3-5 years experience in IT systems maintenance or data analytics, issues reporting, or Business Analysts or Project Management.
- Highly motivated, with a naturally inquisitive nature and a strong understanding of the retail store and retail customer’s needs.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong communications skills, with the ability to make complex topics understandable for others.
- Excellent collaborative skills, with the ability work closely with partners in other departments, understand their pain points and motivations, and persuade them to align with your recommendations.
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, align on priorities, and manage expectations appropriately with your team and manager.
