**The Role**Responsibilities**
- You will instruct students, facilitate learning and evaluate student progress in College courses.

**Qualification**:
- Current unrestricted (i.e., no conditions on license or provincial registration) full registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives with undergraduate degree in Nursing or health related field, Master’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners (e.g., completion of Provincial Instructor Diploma or equivalent education or previous teaching experience with satisfactory references).
- Recent teaching experience in clinical, classroom and/or laboratory settings in a Mental Health or nursing related program or equivalent.
- Three or more years (1 year =1400 hours) of full-time Canadian nursing experience working with clients with mental health challenges (other than dementia) in a setting that utilizes a PSR approach. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Faculty must possess relevant knowledge of the Canadian mental health care system, including the roles and responsibilities of healthcare team members, specifically the role of the CMHW/MHSU, and current policies and procedures within mental health settings that utilize a PSR approach.
- Evidence of completion of course work in Indigenous cultural safety and humility.
- Curriculum development/ maintenance experience/ expertise.
- Effective interpersonal skills, initiative, and creativity.
- Self-directedness, strong work ethic and excellent writing ability.
- Ability to collaborate and contribute effectively to team activities.
- Satisfactory current references.
