Mechatronic D.S. offers turnkey development of complex automated equipment and robotic manufacturing systems. We are a small team of engineers, technicians, and designers determined to create top-quality automated manufacturing systems with a significant impact on our clients’ businesses. Our services include process automation, equipment design, control and electrical engineering, production trials, robotic integration, technical project management, and Automation Deployment Roadmaps.
- Research and development of environmentally friendly meat alternatives
- High speed robotic handling of precious metals
- Industrial manufacturing: automated assembly, punching, cutting
- Integration of AI-based equipment effectiveness monitoring data collection terminals
- Novel and automated agriculture for vertical farms
- Automated industrial food manufacturing. Omelets, crepes, injera
- Robotic machine tending and case packing

**Benefits**

**Required Qualifications**
- University or college degree in systems, industrial, electrical, or mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years project engineering experience
- Natural problem solver with a positive can-do attitude
- Attention to detail, good communication, organization, and decision-making skills

**Optional Qualifications**
- Project Management certification, such as PMP, would be an asset

**Responsibilities**
- Must have demonstrated experience in at least 3:_
- Ownership for scope, budget, and timelines of $500k-$2M capital projects
- Leading interdisciplinary teams: electrical, mechanical, and controls engineering
- Leading meetings: solutions brainstorming, design reviews, progress updates
- Technical interface between internal and external resources
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, including: CSA Z432-16 Safeguarding of machinery
- Experience working in regulated industries: pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, mining
