**Position Title**: Implementation Technician, Client Services

**Location**:Laval, QC

Based in Laval, QC, and reporting to the Senior Implementation Manager, Client Services the Implementation Technician is responsible for QA testing, deployment, support, and training of BP approved POS technologies for all divisions of Boston Pizza International, including Franchisees, Business Management Units and Corporate Services. This position involves helpdesk support, project deployments, and assistance with project research and development. This position also involves 24/7 helpdesk support as well as onsite technical support, deployment, and training.

**What you do**:

- Responsible for project implementation, deployment, and maintaining documentation.
- Responsible for remote/onsite support and troubleshooting of BP approved POS technologies
- Provides Franchisee and Operational support and training for New Restaurant Openings, Restaurant Renovations and System Upgrades
- Responsible for testing and verification of staged and newly deployed POS technologies through remote support and onsite inspection
- Programming of menus and restaurant promotions
- Documents reported problems into ticketing system and follow-up with restaurants to ensure timely resolution of problems and managed services
- Coordinating and following up on technical support issues with suppliers and vendors
- Firewall & Anti-Virus administration & monitoring for corporate locations
- Travel to restaurants as required, ensuring the service continuity of installed POS systems
- Responsible for English/French translation of technical documentation
- Responsible for Hardware and Software evaluation and testing
- Provide after-hours 24/7 restaurant support for required evenings and weekends, as scheduled
- Perform other related tasks as may be assigned

**Who you are**:

- Minimum 4 years working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (eg. Win 7, Win 10, WinXP, POSready, CE, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suites 2013 +
- Experience with hardware and software research and development
- Experience with project deployments and implementation
- Experience with TCP/IP protocols and experience configuring / troubleshooting - firewall/routers, VPNs, switches, and WiFi access points
- Experience with antivirus software - Sophos Antivirus Suite knowledge preferred
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills using a strategic, methodical approach
- Experience with Quality Assurance Testing is an asset
- Experience with POS software is an asset - POSitouch preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with ability to communicate with technical & non-technical users / clients & employees
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
- Enthusiastic in dealing with new challenges and exercises professionalism
- Proactive with excellent organizational skills, time management and multitasking abilities
- Team player but able to perform well independently
- Good working knowledge and experience in Restaurant Operations is an asset
- MCSE/MCSA is an asset
- 2 Year Technical Diploma or Degree
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to travel and provide on-site technical support
