**Position Summary**:
The Sourcing Associate supports the sourcing strategy of the Company, for import vendors, and executes the Global Sourcing Strategist’s plan through costing support, file management, and vendor communications. Supports the administrative duties of the Global Sourcing Strategist including but not limited to the below.

**Responsibilities**:

- Entering vendor Quotes into Costing Sheet to prepare vendor cost comparisons for review for Global Sourcing Strategist.
- Maintaining Vendor Spec Sheets
- Supporting product launches of new product sourced from Multy’s import vendor base
- Communicates to vendors for quote collection, for the sending and receiving of samples, and receipt of vendor specs and photos.
- Manages the Company’s vendor files including Vendor Spec Sheets, product images from vendors and other relevant documents from vendors (could be factory audit reports, machine lists, design databases)
- Maintains the Company’s sample and swatch library from import vendors
- Supports and/or lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conducts all work duties as per the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations, the Health, Safety Environmental policies and Quality policies as established by Multy Home.
- Performs any other reasonable assignments given by the Department Management or his/her designates.

**Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years of experience in supporting product development and sourcing function of a consumer products brand or brand group, from socially and environmentally responsible global vendors.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with category and innovation teams as well as multiple vendors in multiple locations.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Intermediate to Advance working knowledge of Microsoft Products/Word, PP, Excel, etc.
