Business Advisor I

We’re looking for a **Business Advisor **to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Manager of Training and Deployment, this person will have a large impact on implementing various corporate initiatives and environments for the Direct Distribution. You will be responsible to collaborate with various business units and will be responsible for researching, analysing, and defining opportunities for business process improvements.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Analyze and measure effectiveness of business processes and introduce sustainable and measurable improvements to the operations in collaboration with your peers.
- Participate in managing system outages to the front line. Work closely with the Major Incident Management team and the front line to mitigate system outages for the Direct Distribution. Ensure fast resolution times with mínimal business impacts.
- Coordinate with various departments to plan and prioritize system improvements and small or large business requests to IT.
- Collaborate with Operations and Planning and IT to provide recommendations and approvals for small and large corporate requests.
- Participate in the collection and analysis of newly introduced business processes - coordinate post-implementation strategies and relay information to various stakeholders within sales and operations.
- Support the creation of workflows, training documents and change management activities to better support new business processes and procedures.
- Responsible for the maintenance, harmonization, and improvement of Documentation (Basic web design experience required).
- Collaborate with various lines of business and departments to support the deployment of employee workflows and procedures.

**Your Skills**:

- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
- Post-Secondary education is considered an asset
- Minimum of 1 year of insurance
- Knowledge of programming languages such as; HTML, CSS, etc. (Documentation)
- Good understanding of our internal operations within sales and operations
- Analysis and problem solving
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Ability to adapt and act as an ambassador of change
- Ability to lead workshops and meet with various stakeholders
- Experience in business analysis or project management is an asset
- Potential evening shift during regular business hours (8:00am to 8:00pm)
