**Job Summary**
- Dalhousie University’s Office of Advancement is responsible for all fundraising and alumni engagement activities at the institution. A growing team of over 100 professionals cultivates relationships with alumni and friends of the university and works with donors to help them achieve personal fulfilment through philanthropic investment. Dalhousie donors commit in aggregate over $50 million each year in the interest of supporting student success, scientific research, and community impact. The Project Manager & Business Process Analyst reports to the Associate Director, Advancement Platforms and is a key resource to manage projects, conduct business process analysis and seek improvements with the enterprise systems and offices served.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Consult with functional experts and perform effective business process analysis, documentation of functional requirements and procedures, and the preparation of project related data and test plans.
- Prepare project related documentation such as business cases, functional requirements, project charters, detailed plans, presentations, procurement documents, process and/or data models.
- Cultivate a result oriented team with a shared knowledge base, promoting common goals and objectives, ensuring the achievement of project deliverables, and practicing sound business analysis methodologies.
- Conducts research and makes recommendations to the Associate Director and/or project management on the direction and impact of new technology and opportunities for the use of information technology to address business needs.
- Maintain professional relationship and interact effectively with project team members, functional experts, stakeholders, and external contacts such as vendors.
- In a consultative capacity, advises staff in other units on improving business processes, integrated systems and data issues

**Note**
- The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

**Required Qualifications**
- University degree, with five years’ experience as a project manager/business analyst, with enterprise systems and processes (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Considerable project management experience.
- Project implementation and process improvement experience are essential.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodology and practices.
- A highly motivated individual and innovative thinker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**Assets**
