**About the Opportunity**:
Taymor is looking for a **AI Implementation Intern (or COOP student) **to join our team in **Delta**, BC**. This a **hybrid** opportunity with a **rotating in-office schedule and can be fulltime or part time to accommodate your school schedule. $20/hour.**
- The AI Implementation Intern will pinpoint areas where AI can be utilized and help to quantify opportunities in both cost and time savings. This role will work across the organization, but will focus on; Finance/Reporting, Product Management, Marketing, Sales and Operations/Supply Chain. In working with these departments, the Intern will perform in-depth market research to understand the latest AI technologies and document findings. Additionally, he/she will work with Dept champion leads to develop and test plans for AI solution / tool incorporation.

The role includes recognizing quick-win opportunities, researching best practices, documenting findings, quantifying opportunities, and developing test/implementation plans - all in coordination with Department heads / champions. The intern will build additional skills in project management, market research, data analysis and presentations.
- The AI Implementation Intern will also participate in weekly department meetings, cross-functional meetings and additional meeting/events identified by management.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- AI Identification: Analyze our operations, find gaps, and suggest AI solutions to improve efficiency.
- Market Research: Conduct research to understand relevant AI technologies, stay updated, and analyze how to integrate these into our operations.
- Quick-Win Search: Propose immediate value opportunities through AI, such as automation for efficiency gains, competitive edge enhancement, or decision-making aid.
- AI Integration: Collaborate with internal teams for planning and executing AI implementation, including training and monitoring.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to understand their needs and suggest AI solutions.
- AI Advocacy: Helps champion the advantages and potential of AI within the organization to foster an innovative culture.
- Reporting and Documentation: Keep detailed records of AI implementations, including process, challenges, solutions, and results.
- Training and certifications: Research certifications and other relevant training that could aid in educating the team as well as bringing in best practices.

**About You**:
To qualify, you will need to be a **current student,** pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

In addition, we are looking for the following skills and experiences:

- **_Analytical Skills: _**Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- **_Technical Skills: _**Familiarity with data analysis tools and software like Power BI, Excel, SQL, Python, or R. Experience with machine learning algorithms would be a plus.
- **_Market Research: _**Experience or interest in conducting market research and competitive analysis**_._**
