Conveniently located just 15 minutes south of downtown Montreal in the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, the complex currently offers over 40 poker tables and a selection of over 600 Electronic Gaming Devices (slots). In addition, Playground includes an inviting and locally renowned restaurant The Rail Coal Fire Bistro and is in the midst of an exciting expansion project that will include expanding the gaming floors, a stunning hotel and additional contemporary food and beverage outlets.

**Who you are**:
As a Playground Security Camera Operator, you will be expected to provide coverage, information, and surveillance of our premises for the protection of our guests and staff. Your main responsibilities include overseeing floor activities, detecting any suspicious behavior, and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal behavior. As surveillance operators, we have the ability to prevent situations by staying vigilant, remaining calm, and communicating properly with the security team and corresponding departments.

**_ Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7:00AM - 4:00PM - Part-time_**

**_ Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 12:00AM - 8:00AM - Part-time_**

**_ Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 12:00AM - 8:00AM - Full time_**

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for carefully monitoring our video surveillance system and detecting possible liability concerns, illegal activity, and aiding in maintaining the overall safety of guests and staff
- Proactively observe and review videos to complete required documentation regarding specific incidents including but not limited to guest complaints, procedure errors, risk management issues, player evaluations, theft, and variances.
- Responsible for surveying real-time security footage over a widespread, dynamic environment
- Responsible for Monitoring table games, gaming floor, and all critical areas of the casino
- Monitoring the adherence to safety protocols regarding face masks and social distancing
- Maintain and improve knowledge of game rules, company policies, procedures, and threats in all areas in which Surveillance is responsible for
- Review previously recorded surveillance footage, as circumstances dictate
- Work closely with different departments to convey information effectively in solving any discrepancies with guests or staff
- Conduct investigations on lost or stolen items while maintaining surveillance around the perimeter and inside of the building
- Formulate detailed reports and generate daily log entries on all observations and investigation
- Responsible for the accuracy and thoroughness of investigations and reports submitted
- Responsible for communicating clearly with security guards on the floor for any suspicious activity, defied protocols or procedures

**Requirements**:

- Technological expertise including experience with video and computer systems is essential
- Basic to advanced knowledge of poker is an asset
- Attention to detail and sound observational skills for conducting reviews, writing and completing reports and logs that could be used as evidence in legal matters that have resulted from criminal charges against patrons or employees.
- Surveillance operators must possess and maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- Must remain impartial and keep all actions and behaviors observed confidential
- Demonstrates the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in close proximity to fellow employees and be multi-tasked-oriented.
- Strong ability to maintain focus and alertness, for lengthy periods of time, while seated in front of multiple camera views
- Surveillance operators must possess an advanced level of grammar, spelling, the appropriate use of punctuation, and basic mathematical skills.
- Must be able to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues
- Must possess excellent telephone and radio etiquette
- Advanced communication and organizational skills are required
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Excellent language skills both written and spoken
- This position will provide the opportunity to develop specialized surveillance and investigative skills through formal on-the-job training.
