**Position**:Journeyperson Pipefitter

**Project Type**:Plant & Facility Maintenance

**Rotation**: This is a permanent 5 on - 2 off rotation

**Location**:South of Grande Prairie

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform plant and facility maintenance as per customer requirements and WGL guidelines
- Operate a variety of industrial facilities equipment and hand tools
- Work in both elevated and confined spaces including: vessels, tanks, platforms and towers
- Measure, cut, curve, gather and install piping, valves and fittings
- Use testing equipment to check for leaks and perform QA/QC checks
- Perform general duties as assigned
- Complete daily field tickets, field level hazard assessments and other documentation as required by the customer and WGL
- Comply with customer and WGL safety program, including safe work practices and procedures

**Qualifications**:

- Red Seal, Journeyperson Pipefitter with minimum 2 years facility maintenance experience
- Minimum 5 yrs experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Proficient in basic English language, reading and writing skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License **required**:

- Valid CSO
- Valid H2S Alive
- Valid Standard First Aid with BC Jurisdiction
- Must be a resident of Grande Prairie area, no LOA paid for this position

**Subcontractor rates available (must be willing to operate Weaver unit).**
