As a **Laboratory Assistant** for our Pathology team located in **Laval**, you will provide general technical support within laboratories on company premises, as required, and carry out duties according to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) at all times
In this role,** primary responsibilities **include:
- Perform reception, verification and storage of samples using the internal manual system and the Watson LIMS system
- Prepare samples for analysis in the laboratories
- Keep the samples well organized within the freezers and ensure proper documentation
- Perform maintenance/cleaning of the fridges and freezers
- Keep the working area clean and organized
- Perform any other reasonable tasks that may be required
**Key elements**
Here are the** minimum qualifications **and we will train you for the rest:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Reading of English is required. Bilingualism is preferable
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail oriented and meticulous
- Ability to work under time constraints and to adapt to change
**Role Specific Information**:
- Location: Laval / Free parking / Near the subway Montmorency
- Able to Lift up to 15 kg
- Salary: $16.25/h
- Schedule: Day schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:15, flexibility is required
- Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week

**About Safety Assessment**
