The Alzheimer Society of Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton Halton (ASBHNHH) is searching for a dynamic, passionate visionary to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer. The ASBHNHH is a local non-profit organization and part of a network of Alzheimer Societies located across Ontario. We are dedicated to supporting individuals with dementia, their families, and caregivers.

**The Role**

The Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the organization in order that we can realize our vision of supporting people with dementia to live well and remain vital and integral members of their communities. Reporting to the Boards of Directors of the Alzheimer Society of Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton Halton (the “Society”), and the Alzheimer Society Foundation of Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton Halton (the “Foundation”); the role will provide strategic oversight and work with operational leaders to ensure that structures and systems are in place to support the effective management and control of the Society and Foundation. Acting as the ambassador of the Society, the CEO will engage with community partners, government, media and other organizations to explore innovative solutions for those living with dementia. The CEO will be responsible for representing the Society and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships at local Ontario Health Team tables. Using a people-centred leadership philosophy, this transformational leader will foster a culture of inclusivity, uphold our values, and model our passion for excellence in all interactions. The CEO will ensure effective human resource systems and approaches are in place in order to attract and retain employees and volunteers and position the Society as an employer of choice. Additionally, the CEO will develop new revenue streams and donor relations and make sure the Society complies with the Corporations Act, the Regulations and the By Laws of the Society and Foundation, Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement, and all other statutory and regulatory requirements. The CEO will act as an ex officio and non-voting member of the Board of Directors of the Society and Foundation and related board committees.

**Do You Have What It Takes?**
- Are you an inspiring and transformative leader, with a passion for improving lives, supporting change, and leading the Society into the future?
- Do you have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a CEO or Senior Leadership position in a non-profit, health care environment?
- Have you a successful track record in strategic planning, change management, and leading organizational priorities through to execution?
- Do you possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and are capable of engaging others to realize our Vision and further our Mission?
- Are you knowledgeable about government funding, fundraising, and non-profit board governance?
- Do you hold a post-graduate degree in health care administration, health and social sciences, public administration, or related field?
- Can you travel within the ASBHNHH area and possess a valid Ontario driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle?
- *Are you fluent in French? (*desirable but not essential)
