**Job Title**: Sales and Merchandiser

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The duties and responsibilities will cover two components (1) sales and (2) merchandizing.

(1) Sales duties and responsibilities include but not limited to

∙ Daily sales call rotation which will include starting your day with merchandising our products at one of our clients’ retail outlets

∙ Taking inventory of the remaining stock and place an order for replenishment

∙ Seek out the key people in the stores to ensure we are meeting their expectations

∙ Visit additional customers in a designated areas to sell new and existing products

∙ Converse with the order desk on a daily basis to ensure your customers' needs are being met.

∙ Finish the day by sending in a recap of your day with attention to detail.

(2) Merchandising duties and responsibilities include but not limited to

∙ Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays by transporting product between backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual or powered equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck).

∙ Build, change or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space and securing damaged or defective product.

∙ Check accuracy of invoice and send photo of invoice with stickers immediately to head office at.

∙ Ensure that shrink level is below two percent (1%) of daily invoice.

∙ Repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance

∙ Consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head

∙ Manage backroom by organizing stock (product); identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels; evaluating and processing damaged product; re-packing product; organizing backroom materials (i.e., pallets, product shelfs etc.); completing any required paperwork.

∙ Follow all Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.

∙ Maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.

∙ Maintain professional relationships with co-workers, customers and vendors.

∙ Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.

∙ Driving to different locations depending on your assigned stores.

∙ Label and date merchandise expiry.

∙ Check accuracy of invoice and send photo of invoice with stickers immediately to head office.

∙ Conduct weekly inventory and place orders to replenish merchandise by collecting and placing orders via App provided by the company.

∙ Prepare and ready to increase orders by requesting more racks for displaying of products

∙ Take store orders and ensure the products ordered are sufficient to stock the racks.

**Qualifications**:
∙ Must have access to a personal vehicle for use during working hours

∙ A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record with no major violations over the last three (3) years

∙ One (1) year experience working in grocery, retail, merchandising, warehousing or related field preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
