EFW Radiology is currently seeking a **Clinic Assistant (MSK/Mammo) **to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care

**The Role**:
Mammo and MSK Clinic Assistants work closely with EFW Physicians, X-Ray/Mammo, Reception, and Ultrasound teams to support the front-line team and ensure excellent patient care.

**Reporting to**:This position directly reports to the X-Ray Supervisor.

**Role Overview**:

- Assist patients in preparation for procedures, maintaining appointment schedules, and ensuring timely patient flow.
- Manage linen flow, including stocking change rooms and procedure rooms, checking supplier packing slips against invoices, and handling discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of change rooms, waiting areas, and stretcher bays; assist with end-of-day cleaning of procedure rooms.
- Unpack and distribute clinic supplies, and perform clerical duties such as printing, filing, photocopying, scanning documents, managing packing slips and invoices, and making patient reminder phone calls.
- Autoclave or disinfect medical devices, check AEDs and emergency drug carts monthly, and support X-Ray/Mammography clerical tasks, including entering exams into Penrad, updating demographics, preparing result letters, and booking appointments.
- Communicate with Clinical Support Specialist team, referring physicians, technologists, transcriptionists, patients, and the Alberta Society of Radiologists; locate, request, and input outside previous breast imaging exams.
- Adhere to privacy and confidentiality policies, ensuring the safeguarding of personal and health information for patients and employees, and track delayed mammograms to ensure timely dictation as per guidelines.
- Undertakes additional duties as assigned.

**You have the following**:

- Preferred qualifications include experience as a Medical Office Assistant, Medical experience, or Healthcare Aide, with a medical terminology course being a great asset.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly and efficiently learn multiple programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy with detailed information.
- Motivated self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
