Aggregate Scale Operator

Parry Sound, Canada Fowler Construction Company Limited Full time

Fowler Construction is actively seeking a Scale Operator to provide excellent customer service and ensure all material is measured accurately and billed to appropriate customers, both internal and external.

**Job Duties include, but not limited to**:

- Weigh trucks for tare and determine weight to prepare scale tickets.
- Maintain all computer equipment.
- Coordinate both internal sales and retail sales and deliveries.
- Produce reports for internal sales, and for customer needs.
- Assist with inventory tracking and sales feedback.
- Facilitate dispatching and/or dispatch trucks.
- Record timesheets.
- Order fuel when required.
- Perform administrative duties associated with purchasing and receiving.
- Conduct yourself in a professional/mature manner.

**Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Postsecondary education in a technical program is an asset.
- Computer literate (Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities, and clear communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work cooperatively with other staff.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Previous experience running a loader or a willingness to learn to operate equipment would be an asset but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

**Work Conditions**:

- Travel to various sites/locations may be required
- Indoor & outdoor environments; various weather conditions.
- Overtime, evening, and weekend work may be required.
