Commercial Flat Roofing Journeyman

Are you an experienced Flat Roofing Journeyman looking for a new and exciting opportunity? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Flat Roofing Journeyman to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, repair, and maintain flat roofs according to industry standards and company guidelines
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify any issues or potential problems
- Determine appropriate materials and tools required for each job
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with the team to complete projects within established timelines
- Provide training and guidance to apprentices as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Adhere to building codes, regulations, and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and address any questions or concerns

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Flat Roofing Journeyman
- Strong knowledge of various flat roofing systems, including built-up roofs, single-ply membranes, and modified bitumen
- Proficiency in roof installation techniques, repairs, and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Experience with roofing tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Safety-conscious mindset
