Construction Superintendent

**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Project Oversight**: Manage and oversee all construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- **Documentation**: Review and maintain documentation and drawings, complete daily site reports, and record project photos.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all construction documents are properly signed, address discrepancies in scopes of work, and verify completion of all necessary documents.
- **Financial Oversight**: Oversee all vendor invoices, bills, and subcontractor payments to ensure timely processing.
- **Inspections**: Manage all required municipal and provincial inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
- **Subcontractor Management**: Oversee all subcontractors, including their bids, proposals, and submittals. Supervise their work and ensure timely and accurate execution of change orders.
- **Team Development**: Supervise and develop site team members by providing regular feedback, training, and coaching.
- **Resource Management**: Order materials and equipment and ensure sufficient manpower throughout the project to maintain productivity and schedule.
- **Scheduling**: Prepare and maintain construction schedules, identify potential issues, and assist the project team in resolving scheduling conflicts or deviations.
- **Site Cleanliness**: Oversee all site cleanups, including trash pickup and maintaining a clean work environment.
- **Safety Leadership**: Promote a safe and healthy work environment, monitor safety performance, and oversee the Site HSE Coordinator to ensure compliance with safety standards.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent managing multiple construction projects, preferably in commercial, residential, or tenant improvement sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents.
- Financial management skills, including overseeing invoices, bills, and payment schedules.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and project management tools.
- Russian or Ukrainian language skills are an asset but not mandatory.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role overseeing multiple projects.
- Certifications in construction management or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
