Brightside Learning provides Executive Function Coaching to students who are affected by ADHD and executive functioning difficulties. We teach students how to learn by providing them with tools & opportunities to help them succeed academically and personally, and ultimately reach their full potential. We are currently looking for an **Executive Function Coach** to join our team and work at our DDO office.

- We offer ongoing training and supervision, as well as opportunities for professional development.**Position Overview**
- Manage a caseload of students and their families by developing and implementing intervention plans in the areas of academics, executive functions and routines
- Meet with students and families on a weekly basis & follow up in-between sessions
- Develop and implement strategies to support student empowerment, executive function development, and self-advocacy skills development
- Manage and support other team members working with your students
- Communicate regularly with the student’s support team**Qualifications & Knowledge**
- Bachelor degree in education, psychology or a relevant field
- 3+ years experience working with diverse learners
- Knowledge of ADHD and/or executive skills deficits and how they impact school performance in students at different developmental levels
- A working understanding of special education and IEP services, including typical practices regarding teaching methods, homework, grading systems and grade-level expectations
- Proven ability in liaising with parents
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and diplomatically with diverse populations
- Excellent ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technology
- Bilingual: Excellent English (written & spoken); working knowledge of French**Personal Attributes**

- _Beginning in September 2023_: 35 hours per week during the after school, evening and weekend hours. Compensation starts at $42,500 per annum, pro-rated to the academic year.
- _Note_: Possibility to begin training and coaching on a part-time basis immediately.

**Salary**: From $42,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
