**About This Location**:
Arbor Memorial’s Home Office is located in the heart of Bloor West Village in Toronto, just steps away from Jane Subway station. This role is a hybrid-remote position with the expectation to commute for in-office work days once per month and on an as-needed basis.

**About This Role**:
Reporting to the Director of Project Management Office, the Business Analyst II will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. Working closely with project managers, other business analysts and business stakeholders, the Business Analyst II will ensure requirements are defined accurately and concisely in accordance with the project delivery dates.

**Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities**:

- College diploma or university degree in relevant fields: business, finance, economics, information technology.
- 5+ years of related work experience in project management and data analytics.
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis; elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to work with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Experience in a position that requires accuracy, attention to detail and numeracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
- Consistently provides outstanding internal customer service by exemplifying Arbor’s core service values and corporate values of Compassion, Integrity, Trust, Teamwork and Excellence.

**Responsibilities**:

- Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements.
- Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
- Creating functional specifications for solutions.
- Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by all stakeholders.
- Test case creation and testing of solutions.
- Supporting business transition and helping to establish change.
- Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, customers or end-users.
- Collaborate with project manager to understand project scope and vision.
- Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
- Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.
- Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements: gathering processes and developing strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
- Mentoring Business Analyst Level I
- Other duties may be assigned as required, in addition to the principal duties and responsibilities outlined above.
