At Cypress Mountain, exceptional guest service and a strong, supportive team environment are at
the heart of everything we do. Our Snow School Supervisors play a pivotal role in shaping
unforgettable experiences for both our guests and team members alike. The Snow School Groups
Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the Snow School Lessons Programs with dedication and
care, fostering growth, teamwork, and development among the team. They will guide, support and
mentor the team to ensure they are empowered to provide our guests with the experience of a
lifetime. This is an opportunity to lead with compassion, inspire excellence, and create lasting
memories for everyone who comes through the Cypress Mountain Snow School programs.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES **(include but not limited to the following)**:

- Assist in key administrative duties such as hiring, onboarding, and training.
- Create a positive, supportive environment that nurtures team member well-being.
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and equipment inventory.
- Promptly addressing guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor, document, and provide ongoing, constructive feedback on instructor performance.
- Celebrate successes and address areas for growth.
- Foster a culture of learning and accountability.
- Stay informed on and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company

policies.
- Champion all safety-related programs, facilitating regular policy training.
- Manage incident reporting to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other departments, management teams, and third-party

organizations to enhance school operations.
- Take ownership of other tasks as assigned, always approaching them with a solution-oriented,

timely, and growth focused mindset.
- Adhere to, training and support all Health & Safety/Risk Management programs.
- Prioritizing safety and the well-being of both guests and staff.

**QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES**:

- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work well with both children (ages 3+) and adults
- Professional, reliable, punctual, and a willingness to learn.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- Strong understanding of computer literacy and the ability to support team members in

developing their digital skills.
- Experience in coordinating lesson plans and adjusting schedules.
- Problem solver, self-motivated/self-directed.
- Effective team building skills.
- Excellent communication, prioritization and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to give and receive feedback.
- Motivated to take on new challenges and responsibilities, able to show initiative and adapt to

change.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet needs of the business (evenings/weekends/holidays)

**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**:

- CSIA/PSIC/CASI minimum Level 2 certification (or foreign equivalent).
- High School or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of instructing experience.

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**:

- Must be able to legally work in Canada
- Hold a valid BC Driver’s License - an asset
- Have a dependable/insured vehicle required to get to/from work - an asset
