We are hiring a Hardgoods Associate (Key Holder) for our store in Ottawa, ON

**Hardgoods Associate (Key Holder), Job Highlights**:
Ensuring a high level of customer service;
Following up on hot selling items and completing markdowns and SKU changes when needed;
Maintaining planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards;
Performing cycle counts as required.

Supporting day to day operations, focus in assigned departments

Inventory management

Planning and set up of sales events.

Store associate engagement

Taking care of the cashes in the morning to get the balance ready for the opening of the store
Preparing break schedules of other employees in the department
Receiving the delivery trucks when needed
Carrying stocks out of the truck
Taking care of over stock in some departments
Distributing work among staff
Making sure the staff is doing the facing and cleaning store to be ready for the next day
Closes the cash at night (doing the Z-reading)
Performing cycle count as required
Following up on hot selling items and completing markdowns and SKU changes when needed

Strong customer service skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment;
Attention to detail.

Exceptional planning and organizational skills

Strong merchandising skills

Analytical skills which would lead to appropriate action and recommendations being made to the Store Owner

Actively involved and connected with the store’s local community

- Reach above shoulder height and below waist level.
- Operate equipment, including using a ladder.
