**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Supervisory Responsibilities**

Manage day to day activities of accounting team covering Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger accounting by establishing objectives, providing constructive and timely performance evaluations and handling recruitment, discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

**Internal Control**

The Accounting Manager will work with the Controller, Finance team and the broader business to introduce, document, and audit internal control policies and procedures that safeguard the company assets and are compliant with JSOX and Ebara Corporation requirements.

**Annual Audit**

Gathers evidence and supporting documents to support successful internal and external audit reviews

**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILTIES**:
**General Accounting**
- Select journal and account reconciliations as assigned by Controller
- Inter company invoicing
- Respond to external audit requests and delegate as necessary
- Prepare and maintain accounting procedure manual to comply with internal audit controls
- Review or prepare all balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Ensure month end deadlines are met for corporate and management reporting

**Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable**
- Sets regular reviews of open AR invoices to ensure timely invoicing and collections
- Works with other departments to quickly resolve billing and payment issues
- Reviews accounts payable batches prior to release for payment.
- Review new orders and provide feedback on corrective actions
- Responsible for credit approval up to $50,000
- Approve customer credit notes up to $5,000
- Administer US sales tax returns and prepare adjustments
- Develop KPI measures to evaluate team effectiveness: DSO, throughput, error reduction

**Other duties as assigned.**
