Maintenance Technician and Cleaning Specialist

BeeVee Cleaning Inc., is currently seeking a versatile and skilled Maintenance Technician/Cleaner to join our dynamic team. This dual role will be pivotal in ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of our clients' commercial properties. As a Maintenance Technician/Cleaner, you will be responsible for:
Maintenance Technician (tasks below include but are not limited to):

- Perform repairs for apartment units, including light fixture, light bulb, outlet cover, battery replacement, appliance maintenance and relocation.
- Repair and replace broken items, such as blinds, door handles, or cabinet hinges.
- Perform heat checks and notice delivery.
- Inspect units for any maintenance issues or safety hazards and promptly report them to the supervisor.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail in all repair and maintenance tasks.
- Building Cleaning:_
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in accordance with established protocols.
- Clean and sanitize common areas to maintain a safe and pleasant environment.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies, ensuring their availability and proper usage.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the team to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation, exceeding client expectations.
- Follow established guidelines and procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and materials.
- Post-Construction/ Turnover Suite Cleaning:_
- Clean and sanitize all surfaces in the suite, including floors, walls, windows, and fixtures.
- Remove construction debris, dust, and dirt left behind by construction crews.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures, countertops, and appliances.
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including baseboards, window sills, and light fixtures.
- Dispose of trash and debris in accordance with company policies.
- Inspect and report any maintenance or repair needs in the suite.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.

Training as well as a detailed cleaning list will be provided. All supplies and tools needed to complete each job will be provided.

**What do I need?**
- **REQUIRED: Must have **_**own **_**tools (a drill, screwdriver set, steeltoe shoes etc..)**:

- Availability to work on weekends.
- Has a working vehicle and valid drivers license
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Ability to take on physically demanding work
- Keen eye for detail
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to adapt and learn new skills
