As a legal assistant, you will be tasked with various duties, including drafting documents, conducting legal research, and maintaining and organizing files. You will also use innovative technology, including computer software, for organizing and managing the data and documents collected throughout a case.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents based on written instruction or verbal direction.
- Proofread and edited documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures, grammatical usage, and content accuracy.
- Manage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence.
- Conduct legal research for various legal and administrative issues, as instructed.
- Set up and maintain filing systems, utilizing legal records and procedures knowledge, and frequently controlling confidential materials and documents.
- Assist company managers with evaluating various aspects of corporate and administrative compliance.
- Monitor and review government regulations to ensure that the corporation is aware of new legal requirements.
- Search, prepare and keep updated Articles, Notices of Registered Companies and prepare the Minute Book.
- Maintain Corporate Minute Book(s) with accurate records, prepare and submit Annual Return(s), and cooperate with lawyers on this matter.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Proven working experience as Legal Assistant.
- Legal Assistant certification or diploma in the related field.
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols.
- Computer literacy and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of the team.
