Our client is a dynamic and innovative company specializing in custom 3D printing services, based in Toronto. They are at the forefront of technological advancement in 3D printing, catering to a diverse clientele ranging from individuals seeking personalized home decor to businesses requiring precise prototypes. As they continue to grow and expand their reach in the market, they are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team and report directly to the CEO.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the financial strategy and planning of the company, ensuring alignment with its overall business goals and objectives.
- Oversee all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury.
- Develop and maintain strong financial controls and systems to support the company’s growth, particularly in the rapidly evolving field of 3D printing.
- Collaborate with the CEO to identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and potential areas for expansion.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and business strategy development.
- Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.
- Advise on long-term business and financial planning, including potential mergers and acquisitions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior executives, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Represent the company with investors, government entities, and the public, maintaining the company’s positive financial and ethical standing.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial managerial position, preferably within the 3D printing, manufacturing, or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
- Ability to strategize and solve complex problems.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
- CPA or other relevant qualification is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
