Financial Control and Risk Management:

Lead the charge in efficiently managing all financial functions for the companies, ensuring every dollar is optimized for maximum impact.

Develop and uphold rigorous internal financial controls, safeguarding against risks while meeting all statutory requirements.

Keenly watching cash flow dynamics, orchestrating timely bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting with finesse.

Mastermind debt management strategies, ensuring compliance with debt covenants and facilitating smooth mortgage and debt funding.

Spearhead the financing of new acquisitions, seamlessly arranging closing funds and refinancing existing debt obligations.

Oversee the management of the companies’ funds, orchestrating monthly cash distributions and redemptions like a financial virtuoso.

Dive into corporate accounting duties, maintaining pristine accounting records for ancillary companies.

Financial Reporting:

Direct the preparation of quarterly consolidated financial statements, adhering to the highest standards of IFRS.

Be the driving force behind management discussions and analysis, as well as Annual Reports.

Navigate the quarterly portfolio valuation process with finesse, ensuring accuracy in monthly reporting packages.

Operational Accounting:

Collaborate closely with the executive team, ensuring timely and accurate financial information flow, and resolving revenue and property accounting issues promptly.

Compliance, Audit, and Taxation:

Your Toolbox Must Include:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

A CPA designation with extensive experience in fund administration and private REITs, MICs, and LP offerings.

A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in real estate portfolio management. A solid understanding of full-cycle accounting

Extensive knowledge of IFRS and tax laws.

Expertise in tax reporting for trusts, corporations, and partnerships, with a strong grasp of exempt market offerings.

Experience working with entities that are issuers of securities, with knowledge of securities regulations and compliance requirements.

Strong understanding of real estate finance, investment analysis, and asset management principles.

Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.

Strategic long-term planning coupled with 5 years of external reporting and corporate finance experience in the real estate industry.

Impeccable leadership, management, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence key stakeholders.

Mastery MS Excel skills while possessing exceptional analytical, reporting, and organizational skills.

Experience with the Yardi property management accounting system.
