**What you'll do**:

- ** Database Design and Development**:

- Create and optimize database schemas and objects
- Develop stored procedures, functions, and complex queries
- Design and generate complex SQL reports based on business requirements
- **Data Mining and Integration**:

- Perform complex data mining to extract valuable insights
- Integrate data from various sources into databases
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality across different datasets
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- **Collaboration and Solution Tailoring**:

- Coordinate with internal teams to analyze and assess business needs
- Tailor database solutions to meet unique business requirements
- **Database Management and Maintenance**:

- Oversee comprehensive database management tasks
- Implement backup and recovery strategies
- Secure database access and ensure data integrity
- Optimize physical data storage design
- **Security Management**:

- Implement and maintain database security best practices
- Manage user access and authentication

- Continuously monitor database performance and resource utilization
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize queries and indexes

- **Troubleshooting and Debugging**:

- Conduct root cause analysis for database issues
- Resolve performance issues and errors promptly

- Develop scalable database solutions to accommodate growing data volumes
- Implement strategies for database scaling and partitioning
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices
- **Integration and Connectivity**:

- Enable and manage connectivity via RESTful APIs
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate database solutions

**What Makes you Stand out**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an SQL Developer and/or DBA
- Proven experience with Azure SQL Database services
- Strong background in database schema design and optimization
- Experience in writing complex stored procedures and SQL queries
- Extensive experience in data mining and data integration from various sources
- Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams to develop tailored database solutions
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL programming
- Knowledge of database security best-practices
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and techniques
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure
- Proficiency in ETL tools and processes (e.g., SSIS, Informatica)
- Knowledge of data integration methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) is desirable
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools is a plus
