Looking for a new challenge in the ERP space? We are looking to add a SAP Business ByDesign Presales Lead to our team. Experience with Business ByDesign or other complete ERP solutions is essential.

Presales Leads collaborate with the sales or account team by acting as system experts in customer presentations. They provide solution overviews and demonstrations with strong and focused win themes. In addition, they help to determine the solution requirements to meet client goals and act as liaison between the organization's sales/business development and delivery groups. They also assist in the response to requests for information or requests for additional solution information from customers.

The SAP Business ByDesign Presales Lead possesses advanced/expert level knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign (or similar ERP solutions) and partner software solutions and participates in sales cycles as a member of the sales account team in support of the sales account strategy. A Presales Lead interacts with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations and follow-up discussions. The Primary role of the Presales Lead during an active sales cycle is to gain acceptance from the customer that SAP Business ByDesign solution can solve the customer's problem and is the right choice over the other competitive offerings. During these cycles, they often take on the role of a Solution Captain, leading the team from a solution perspective.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide Sales support throughout the sales process and lead transition from sales to project delivery
- Assist Delivery in the development of software proposals
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with relevant counterparts at SAP
- Support RFP responses, as needed
- Assist lead qualification process and lead the determination of solution fit
- Provide generic "overview" software demos
- Know (or learn) the SAP Business ByDesign solution thoroughly
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and delivery organizations from a product perspective
- Keep abreast of future product enhancements and overall product direction
- Understand the SAP Business ByDesign system as a potential solution for the client
- Conduct effective, professional, sales-appropriate discovery sessions with prospective clients to identify needs, develop value proposition and solution "point of view"
- Effectively articulate how SAP Business ByDesign would solve client needs to client and teammates
- Demonstrate the SAP Business ByDesign system to the client to address identified client needs as well as to educate and propose additional potential value
- Ability to differentiate SAP Business ByDesign from competing solutions
- Work very closely with business decision makers and end users.
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills

**Requirements**:
Required Skills and Experience:

- 8-10 years ERP Product and/or Implementation experience
- Experience presenting to groups
- Demonstrated on 15+ successful engagements leading teams on mid-large sized deals
- Business empathy - ability to see things from the client's perspective and effective translate our solution
- Ability to handle fast-paced, dynamic sales and partnership situations
