We are looking for an Advertising Assistant to join our Marketing team at our Head Office located in East York.

The Marketing Advertising Assistant will provide direct support to the Manager, Advertising & Analytics in gathering advertising and promotion data, budgeting, and help ensure compliance with electronic marketing regulations.

Data Compilation and Analytics Support
- Gather analytics metrics from agencies and organize into templates
- Conduct research to assist with project requests
- Prepare tracking reports for lead generation vehicles, summarizing leads generated and corresponding sales conversion metrics

Budget Tracking /Invoices
- Coding and tracking Marketing Plan invoices
- Ensuring invoices are submitted by vendors in a timely manner

Marketing Feedback and Compliance
- Provide PIPEDA/CASL support related to advertising initiatives
- Update monthly data base changes resulting from Unsubscribes / Opt-outs
- Cleanse eNewsletter mailing list data ports before issuing to agency
- Monitor eNewsletter mailbox and work with Sales Administrative Assistant to ensure lead requests are tracked and responded to in timely manner

Marketing Collateral
- Prepare business card artwork, secure approvals, and send updated business card artwork to Purchasing
- Manage inventories of collateral and promotional products in Marketing Stockroom and at Data Direct (off-site storage facility)
- Coordinate collateral and promotional product releases requested by sites and sales team
- Coordinate request details with sites
- Assist with artwork creation for one-off sales support requests
- Proof-reading assistance on various advertising and collateral support projects
- Coordinate with Sales Administrative Assistant related to tradeshow and outreach promotional materials
- Perform other sundry duties as assigned.

**Hours/Days of Work**:

- 37.5 hours per week
- Occasional overtime as required

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing or equivalent educational experience
- At least two years’ experience working in a comparable role
- Strong interpersonal skills to allow for the ability to build effective relationships within own team and with key stakeholders
- Excellent priority setting, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent editorial, writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of marketing analytics tools helpful (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager)
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Design products (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Creative, takes initiative, detail-oriented
