**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Event Manager to oversee and lead all event initiatives, including public events, weddings, corporate gatherings, and private functions. In this role, you will develop and execute events that are not only impactful and well-organized but also reflective of the Sawdust City brand. This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional to bring creativity, efficiency, and innovation to our events, enhancing our venue as a memorable location for both business and celebration.

**General Duties**:

- **Plan and coordinate the event from start to finish, ensuring alignment with requirements, target audience, and objectives.**:

- **Develop ideas to enhance event success and attendee satisfaction.**:

- **Prepare and manage the event budget, ensuring expenses stay within allocated resources.**:

- **Source, negotiate, and contract with vendors and suppliers.**:

- **Oversee hiring of event personnel, such as DJs, waitstaff, and additional service staff.**:

- **Coordinate and manage all operational needs, ensuring smooth execution.**:

- **Lead and oversee all promotional activities to drive event engagement and attendance.**:

- **Supervise and support staff, including event coordinators, caterers, bar staff, and more.**:

- **Review and approve all event elements prior to the event day.**:

- **Troubleshoot and step up to resolve any challenges or issues that arise during the event.**:

- **Conduct a post-event analysis to measure success and prepare reports for stakeholders.**

**Qualifications**:

- **Proven experience as an event manager, with a track record of successful events.**:

- **Strong project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.**:

- **Knowledge of marketing techniques specific to event planning.**:

- **Proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills.**:

- **Understanding of food and beverage management.**:

- **Excellent communication and negotiation skills.**:

- **Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities.**:

- **Customer service-oriented mindset.**:

- **Team player with proven leadership skills.**:

- **Education: BSc/BA in Public Relations, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.**

Pay: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
