Sheet Metal Fitter

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure and mark sheet metal for cutting and bending
- Cut and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools
- Install sheet metal products such as ductwork, flashings, and gutters
- Inspect and repair sheet metal products as necessary
- **Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times**:

- **Collaborate with other team members **to complete projects on time and within budget
- **Communicate effectively** with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
- **Use technology **including a computer and smartphone to complete job-related tasks

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a sheet metal apprenticeship program
- Journeyman certification (Level 3 or 4)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using technology including a computer and smartphone
