Core Competencies and Skills Required

Must have a 4-position CWB Welding ticket and S & T ticket or provide proof of having passed four-position CWB and S & T Ticket. Must possess or be able to obtain a 6-G position P1 Stick ticket or other materials as required. Must have one of the following along with relevant experience: Welder (456A) or (456P) Construction Boilermaker (428A) Steamfitter(307A) Metal Fabricator (Fitter) (437A) A valid Gas ticket would be an asset. Must have an understanding of all tools and equipment utilized in the trade and all related safety practices relative to the trade. Must have a minimum of Grade 12 education. Successful applicants must be able and willing to work on a rotating shift schedule.
