Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

- Manage the inventory
- Count and track inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions.
- Maintain accurate records for controlled substances.
- Identify and report discrepancies in inventory levels.
- Ensure that all products are properly labeled and stored.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
- Perform regular physical inventories of products.
- Ensure that all products are properly stored and handled according to safety regulations.
- Providing and maintaining good customer service, a smooth flow of goods and avoiding stock outs.
- Maintain a clean Storage/Supply room and ensure items are clean, organized, and in functional condition
- Responsible for the physical handling of all incoming shipments, the identification of material, verification of quantities, and the routing of supplies to the place of use (Departments) or storage
- Use of EzyVet Software to maintain all aspects of the Pharmacy
- Replenish Cubex as needed
- Receive monthly / bi-weekly invoices and compare to shipping statements
- Receive all Purchase Order’s (PO) for King Animal Hospital for accounting (service and supplies) and submit to Finance weekly.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
- Manage back orders / liaise with purchasing.
- Notify hospital personnel of backorders and work with them to find alternatives to ensure patient care.
- Create purchase requisitions.
- Create individual Department Order forms for each department to fill out and turn back for verification prior to orders processed.
- Reorder oxygen cylinders as per department needs and requests
- Ship product returns (damaged, shipment errors) to vendors
- Process orders and quotes through EzyVet Software
- Prepare shipping documentation (Pack Slips, commercial invoices, shipping labels)
- Scanning and copying of pack slips and shipping documentation
- Complete other duties as assigned
- 1-2 years’ experience in a related position preferably in a hospital setting
- Effective organization and multi-tasking ability
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Computer skills including the ability to create spreadsheets

Working knowledge of all aspects of Inventory Control as it relates to Payables, Purchasing, Billing and Supply Chain

Working knowledge of integrated computerized inventory control systems (Ezyvet & Cubex)

**Salary**: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
