**Salary**: $20.00 - $20.00/Hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (35 hours per week).

**Key Activities**:
As members of the core NAC Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Team, the incumbent will support logistics, project management and communication of our strategic initiatives to ensure our efforts to create safe spaces for our employees and future audiences are well planned, communicated and carried out. They will also assist with the execution of all other activities leading to the development of the NAC’s EDI strategy. The EDI team collaborates with all NAC’s departments to help ensure that the organization is a place where every employee is fully enabled and empowered to do their work in a more welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Duties include:
- Assist the EDI Team in researching EDI tools, resources, and training opportunities for employees;
- Work to populate the EDI intranet site with tools and resources to support employees’ learning and increase their knowledge and understanding of EDI practices;
- Support the work of the EDI Team to develop and implement strategies to enhance equity, diversity, and inclusion within the NAC;
- Plan and organize the logistics for skills development training, learning opportunities and awareness activities for employees;
- Support the Director of EDI in the development and implementation of strategies that contribute to the development of an inclusive work environment;
- Be a part of the NAC’s EDI Circle; support meeting preparation and planning as well as provide general support to the EDI Team.

**Skill Requirements**:

- Experience in coordinating working groups without direct management oversight (self-starter);
- Experience writing for a variety of communication channels;
- A commitment to and experience working with diverse groups and individuals;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, manage projects, interpret data, and make recommendations;
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills;
- High level of personal integrity, and ability to partner across differences;
- Proven project management, time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and plan ahead;
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment;
- Bilingual: Ability to community in both English and French.

**Who Can Apply**:

- Must be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment.
