We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team at Simplicity Car Care Oakville. The Estimator will play a key role in assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and coordinating with customers and insurance companies to ensure timely and efficient repair processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage and identify necessary repairs.
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for repair costs, including labor, parts, and materials, using estimating software and industry guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair estimates, discuss repair options, and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Work closely with insurance companies to obtain approvals for repairs, negotiate repair costs, and ensure compliance with insurance guidelines and procedures.
- Coordinate repair schedules and timelines with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Conduct quality inspections of completed repairs to ensure that work meets industry standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, repair estimates, communication with customers and insurance companies, and other relevant documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Collision Shop Estimator or in a related role within the automotive repair industry.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and familiarity with industry-standard repair procedures and guidelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, insurance representatives, and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating repair costs and assessing vehicle damage.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and materials, as well as repair techniques and methods.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification or training in collision repair estimating may be preferred or required.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- Additional education or training in automotive repair, collision repair estimating, or a related field may be beneficial.
