**As a Procurement Manager your responsibilities will include**:

- Leading a team for the overall procurement process of the firm.
- Sourcing, negotiating and monitoring vendor contracts and purchase agreements.
- Reviewing, evaluating, and approving specifications for issuing and awarding bids
- Participating in the development of specifications for service, hardware, and software purchases.
- Collaborating with other functional groups and coordinating personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment services, and supplies.
- Participation in the preparation and assessment RFIs or RFPs.
- Participating in the development of purchasing workflows and the implementation and administration of a purchasing system to support the firm’s procurement function
- Execution of procurement process in accordance with the firm’s purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures
- Maintaining supplier relationships through regular account reviews
- Resolving vendor or contractor grievances and disputes and escalation where appropriate
- Providing logístical and inventory support to the national equipment and leasehold leasing programs
- Conducting business and negotiations with high level of ethical sensitivity and awareness

**Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Procurement Manager? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick**:

- University or college graduate with business administration degree or diploma
- A minimum 5 years of experience working in a corporate business environment
- Working knowledge of purchasing and supply chain management
- Knowledge of contract administration and/or contract law
- Previous experience in managing a team would be an asset
- Strong management skills, supervising and collaborating across teams
- Experience preparing high quality reports and schedules
- Strong ability to manage priorities and multiple tasks at a high level while consistently meeting deadlines in a dynamic and energetic work environment
- Excellent negotiation, reasoning and analytical skills
- Exemplary organizational and time management skills
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of MS office
- Active listener and “client-focused” in service delivery
- Ability to communicate with clarity and persuasiveness (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated business acumen and sound judgment
- Knowledge of IT software and service would be an asset
